Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will place a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimising their network infrastructure, focusing on automation, and modern DevOps practices.

A leading international IT service provider specialising in multiple sectors. A rapidly growing, private-equity-back end company with operations in multiple countries, with over 2 million IT connections across the world.

Description

This role will encompass a range of responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Design, develop, and implement automated solutions for network provisioning, configuration management, and troubleshooting.
  • Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab or Jenkins to automate network configuration, deployment, and testing processes.
  • Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to integrate network infrastructure with cloud platforms (AWS/ Azure/ GCP).
  • Develop scripts and automation workflows using programming languages such as Python, Bash, or other relevant languages.
  • Utilise network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to streamline network operations, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Work on integrating third-party platforms APIs to enable process automation.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance network automation capabilities.
  • Create documentation and provide training to team members on automated network processes and tools.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in network engineering combined with hands-on experience in DevOps practices and tools.
  • Proficiency in network automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar
  • Strong programming and scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation purposes.
  • Good understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and security concepts.
  • Experience with networking technologies is a plus
  • Prior experience in API integration, preferably in network management of Infrastructure Automation.
  • Excellent problem solving abilities and a proactive approach to improving network efficiency through automation
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
