About the company Our client is a independent school which uses innovative methods for teaching and learning. Position Overview As the school's IT & AV manager, you will be providing support and maintenance of the school's network, servers, software packages, computer equipment and AV hardware. Responsibilities Lead a small team of technicians, providing technical escalation, skill development, and performance management. Cover day-to-day operational requirements, including IT issues, AV bugs, and Zoom meetings. Support and maintain the school's network, servers, software, and AV hardware. Ensure effective IT use by all team members and students, improving their understanding and experience. Provide remote and face-to-face technical support, with a proactive troubleshooting approach. Deliver excellent customer service to staff, students, and parents, and assist in launching the online campus and scaling the e-sport club. Candidate Requirements Essential Skills and personal qualities Previous experience in a school. Resourcefulness in dealing with competing deadlines and priorities. Strong attention to detail. Demonstrable experience in AV and IT systems within an operational team. Strong organizational and communication skills. Good understanding of H&S regulations and GDPR. Punctuality is essential.
