A fantastic well known global company is looking to grow their IT team and is requiring an experienced 2nd line engineer to join them

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer with expertise in audio-video systems to join our team. As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our internal users, ensuring the smooth operation of their desktops, laptops, and audio-video equipment.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems and applications.
Diagnose and resolve audio-video system issues, including conference room setups, projectors, displays, and audio equipment.
Collaborate with IT teams to implement and maintain audio-video solutions for meetings and presentations.
Assist in the setup and support of video conferencing systems, including hardware, software, and network connectivity.
Perform routine maintenance and updates on desktop systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
Document support activities, procedures, and configurations for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Provide training and guidance to end-users on the proper use of audio-video equipment.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or similar role, with exposure audio-video systems.
In-depth knowledge of desktop operating systems, including Windows 10 & 11.
Experience troubleshooting audio-video systems, including codecs, and conferencing platform ( Microsoft Teams).
Strong understanding of network connectivity, protocols, and infrastructure.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.
