An established financial services business based in Darlington are currently on the lookout for a Data Governance Analyst as they look to further build and develop their data governance framework organisation-wise. The role of the Data Governance Analyst is to work closely with stakeholders across the various business units to develop and implement robust data governance standards, processes and controls. They are the guardians of the organisation's data, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance.

You will be expected to: Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of a data governance framework including policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data integrity, privacy, and security across the organisation. Collaborate with business users to identify the data governance requirements and define data quality metrics. Assist in conducting data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and recommend corrective actions. Provide guidance and support to business units on data governance best practices. Work with the enterprise architects in designing and overseeing the implementation of effective solutions and models to store and retrieve data Assist in managing data-related risks and help develop strategies to mitigate potential vulnerabilities. Examine and identify database structures by evaluating the business operations, applications and processes. Contribute to the assessment, design & implementation of information systems to guarantee company functionality. Provide accurate analysis to support updates for management and executive teams on Data Governance progress Assist in the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions

The role is offering a salary of up to £52,500 in addition to a 10% bonus and substantial pension consisting of 10.5% employee and 17.3% employer contributions.

The office is in Darlington, with an expectation of office visitations 1-2 days per week.
