Data Engineer/Architect - Fully Remote (UK) - £55,000

Join a leading digital transformation agency as a Data Engineer/Architect where you will work on a variety of projects within their portfolio, interpreting and bringing to life the defined solution architecture. This is a remote-first position (UK based).

The Role:

As a Data Engineer/Architect you will;

• Design and implement cloud-native data lakes, data pipelines, and data visualisation solutions on GCP and longer-term on AWS
• Support the design and implementation of MySQL database migration to cloud-based data solutions
• Ensure adherence to data management frameworks and governance
• Support with troubleshooting and resolve technical issues
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

They are looking to build out their Data team so there is the scope for you to progress into leading this team, if that is the direction you wish to take your career.

About you:

• 3+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or similar
• Experience with GCP, including serverless technologies (AWS is a plus)
• Experience in building data pipelines using SQL and related technologies
• Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and experience with database systems such as MySQL
• Familiarity with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake is a plus (not essential)
