| Description: | We are working with an industry leading MSP who have significant growth plans over the next 2 years to support their gorwing customer base. We are looking for a 3rd Line Engineer to join a technical team supporting customers across Project delivery and BAU support.With a healthy training budget for each engineer to ensure you are up to date with the latest technologies and certifications this is a great opportunity to get exposure to some of the latest technologies.What will you be doing as a 3rd Line Engineer?As a pivotal member of the technical team, your role will involve:- Providing expert-level support and troubleshooting for complex issues.- Designing and implementing solutions based on Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies.- Ensuring the stability and efficiency of networking infrastructures.- Collaborating with other professionals to deliver exceptional service to a diverse clientele.- Contributing to projects with your innovative ideas and technical acumen.What experience fo you need as a 3rd Line Engineer?- Proven experience in a 3rd Line Engineer role or similar within an IT environment.- Previous experience in an MSP environment would be advantageous- Proficient in Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies, including Office 365 and Azure.- A solid understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.- Experience with virtualization platforms, such as Hyper-V or VMware.- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to resolving complex issues.- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA) are highly regarded but not essential.What will you get?- Basic salary of up to £45,000 + bonus - Hybrid working environment- Continous training and paid for certifications- Incredibly generous additional benefits- Wellbeing and charity supportThis position is based in Gloucester so you must be in within a commutable distance.If you feel you match the above click 'apply now' with an up to date version of your CV. | |
