| Description: | I'm hiring a Automation Tester with solid experience of front-end JavaScript-based automation with tools like Playwright and Cypress to join my client. They have an office in Bath and would like people happy to come in once a month, but the rest of the time you can work remotely. They are a FinTech scaleup who develop a platform that helps with investments. They also champion flexible working that focuses on delivery and impact, rather than the amount of hours you work. They are now looking for an Automation Tester / SDET to join their UI team. At the moment they are working with JavaScript based tech like Playwright, Cypress, Jest and Mocha. They have recently redeveloped the front end of their products so you have the opportunity to shape how testing looks on this front. You'll ideally also be thinking about things like usability and accessibility and work closely with designers. You'll be embedded within their UI team and also work closely with colleagues from the wider business. You'll work with developers and other members of the team to champion qa and discover untested scenarios and improve test coverage across their products. You'll also get to work with QAs across other teams within the business to bounce ideas off. Their ideal person will be an Automation Tester/ SDET with experience of UI automation with tools like Cypress/ Playwright. They are also open to someone more mid level to someone super experienced. Salary is anywhere from 45,000 up to 70,000 depending on experience (they are open to people more mid level and at the senior end hence the wide range) along with some really good benefits including 27 days holiday, plus bank holidays, your birthday off, 6% pension, Private Medical, learning budgets, health and wellbeing platforms, as well as a whole host of other benefits.
