Head of Assurance Technology

Our Public Sector client requires a Head of Assurance Technology based in Birmingham on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for the organisations strategy relating to the use of technology as well as being involved in other projects related to standards and policy.

To be considered, you will exhibit the following skills/ experience:

• Experience developing policy/ standards/ guidance relating to technology
• CCAB qualification.
• Audit experience.
• Understanding of technologies used in assurance engagements.
• An existing, wide-reaching network
• Awareness of the recent audit market reform studies and government proposals.
• Understanding of the following:
  • Assurance over Digital Reporting (ESG & Tagging)
  • Professional Ethics & Technology
  • Machine learning use by auditors
  • Data Analytics
  • Technology & Competition

This client operates a hybrid working model and as such, you will be required on-site in the Birmingham office 2 days per week. Competitive annual salary of £110,000.
