Desktop Support Engineer

My client is currently looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to come join them in Avonmouth, Sound of Interest?

As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will provide the first line of IT support to all company employees, both on-site and remote workers. The primary goal is to support end users with all IT support queries. Working as part of a small team you will be involved in a range of technologies as you progress and gain more experience within the role.Main Responsibilities: 1st line triage and resolution of user reported issuesTroubleshooting Windows operating system, and application issuesConfigure and deploy laptop and Apple Mobile devicesBasic MDM administration of Apple DevicesSupporting deployment and update of softwareTroubleshoot hardware and software faultsInstall and configure new end user devices to company standardsGood customer facing skills and ability to prioritize your workload are also key aspects of the role.

Work Experience Requirements:Experience and/or Qualifications in an IT support roleExperience with Windows 10 and Apple iPhone iOS/iPadOSExperience with MS O365 PackagesExperience with Active Directory and group policiesAbility to maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queriesProactive approach, ability to prioritize and manage own workloadExcellent oral and written communication skillsKeen attention to detail
