Do you have technical expertise with Data Architecture within an Azure environment?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at a hugely successful, global FinTech / FX brokerage as they scale, whilst enjoying a range of perks and benefits including 30 days a year work from anywhere.

As a Data Architect and a key member of the data leadership team you will be instrumental in building out a new data architecture in collaboration with the Chief Data Officer to support business growth. You'll employ Domain Driven Design principles to create unified data models that standardise how data is produced, consumed and interpreted across the business and develop a thorough understanding of all data requirements, providing solutions for business and technology teams with data governance and compliance in mind.

There are complex challenges including meta data management and architecting pipelines through batch and stream processing through relevant SaaS tools to deliver data where and when it is needed. You'll set and communicate the technical direction, evaluating technology choices and making recommendations.

Location / WFH:

There's a hybrid work from policy; you'll join colleagues in impressive London, City offices Monday to Friday for the first week of each month, you can then work remotely or go into the office on a flexible basis for the rest of the month.

About you:

• You have expertise with Data Architecture including data API design, data strategy and end-to-end data management systems
• You have indepth experience with Azure and Azure Databricks
• You have a good knowledge of data governance and control within a finance environment (ideally brokerage or Forex)
• You have experience of working with a range of data tools, they use AWS Wasabi for storage so experience with that would be great
• You have excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
