Job Title: Business Agility Lead
Location: Chester /Halifax

Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2 days per week onsite
Contract Length: 3 months

Pay rate: 400 - 550 pwd via Umbrella
Hours: Full Time

About the Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Business Agility Lead to partner with cross-functional Labs, driving effectiveness, efficiency and predictability across teams. In this role you'll support the transition to a data-led approach, helping teams deliver value faster, improve flow of work, and embed sustainable agile practices.

You'll work directly with Lab Leaders to coach, guide, and uplift capability-ensuring teams build the tools and maturity needed to self-manage over time. This position plays a key part in refining agile delivery, improving data quality, and supporting teams to use metrics and insights to make informed decisions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, scaled frameworks) with coaching and continuous improvement
• Using real-time data to enhance speed-to-market, efficiency and predictability
• Ensuring high-quality use of JIRA, JIRA Align and Confluence
• Helping to establish new agile teams and uplift agile ways of working
• Coaching teams on problem-solving approaches such as process mapping, value hypothesis development and brainstorming
• Working with teams across varying levels of agile maturity-from early adopters to highly developed practices

What You'll Need

• Proven experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master (relevant certifications preferred)
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery metrics and evidence-based decision making
• Experience influencing senior leadership in agile ways of working
• Hands-on experience using JIRA, JIRA Align and Confluence
• Ability to drive data quality and coach teams in tooling and workflow discipline
• Strong problem-solving mindset, using data and insights to support performance

Desirable

• Agile certifications (e.g., PSM I, PSM II, PK1 or similar)
