ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Senior or Principal Consultant, you will work across a diverse range of engagements, helping clients tackle complex and often unique business and technology challenges. At Senior level, you will lead projects, applying structure and clarity to client problems, while at Principal level you will take accountability for multiple engagements and client portfolios, providing strategic guidance and commercial focus.

You will work closely with stakeholders at all levels to understand their challenges, define the best course of action, and support them in achieving their goals. The work is varied, sometimes demanding, but always rewarding. You will be part of an experienced, tightly knit, high-performing team, where each consultant brings their own expertise but shares a common approach: trusted team players with strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Alongside delivering client value, you will build lasting relationships and play a key role in developing our people, ensuring we continue to grow both as individuals and as a business.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Delivery

• Shape and deliver consulting engagements that address business and technology challenges.
• Apply structured problem-solving to complex situations.
• (Senior) Lead a project or workstream, managing risks and dependencies.
• (Principal) Lead multiple engagements, provide strategic advice, and ensure delivery optimises value and margins.

Client Engagement

• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from executives to delivery teams.
• Communicate clearly and credibly, simplifying complexity.
• (Principal) Advise on strategic issues and manage client expectations at portfolio level.

Leadership & People Development

• Mentor and coach team members, sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration.
• (Senior) Lead small teams and support colleagues' growth.
• (Principal) Build and coach high-performing teams, role-modelling values-led leadership.

Commercial & Business Development

• Apply commercial awareness, understanding scope, budgets, and client priorities.
• (Senior) Spot opportunities for efficiencies, upsell or cross-sell, and contribute to proposals.
• (Principal) Lead proposals, develop accounts, and contribute to thought leadership and business growth.

Practice & Proposition Development

• Support the evolution of our consulting services and propositions.
• Contribute collateral, tools, and methods that improve client delivery.

ABOUT YOU

• A natural communicator, able to engage at all levels.
• Strategic thinker who can frame outcomes and connect them to solutions.
• Comfortable with ambiguity; able to analyse complexity and maintain the big picture.
• (Senior) Confident leading engagements and mentoring peers.
• (Principal) Skilled at portfolio leadership, balancing client needs with commercial objectives.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Proven background in technology-led consulting and/or architecture.
• Demonstrable success in working with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Experience of delivering transformation, disruption, or change.
• Skilled in structured problem-solving and applying frameworks.
• Knowledge of major technology providers, trends, and architecture practices.
• (Principal) Strong commercial acumen, proven account growth, and thought leadership.

LOCATION:

Home based and flexible to travel to client locations across the UK.
