Salary: £66,630 - 78,912 per year Requirements: - We are looking for candidates with the following skills and knowledge:
- Degree or equivalent experience in cyber security, information systems, or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of enterprise IT systems, networks, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) alongside familiarity with secure design principles and architecture frameworks.
- Proven track record in security architecture or secure systems engineering within complex IT or OT environments, with the ability to create and articulate technical security designs for diverse stakeholders.
- Understanding of cyber risk principles and relevant security controls.
- Strong understanding of threat modeling, secure architectures, and assurance processes.
- Experience in delivering secure by design within a regulated environment (ideally in nuclear, critical national infrastructure, or defense).
- Strong working knowledge of architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, SABSA, or equivalent).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to explain complex topics clearly.
- Experience working with stakeholders at multiple levels to influence design decisions.
- Awareness of regulatory and industry frameworks (e.g., CAF, NIST, CIS, and NIS Regulations).
Responsibilities: - In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the development and implementation of security architectures and patterns aligned to enterprise strategy, regulatory expectations, and control standards.
- Providing technical guidance and assurance on cyber security design during project and solution delivery.
- Translating business and technical requirements into secure architectural designs.
- Collaborating with Enterprise, Solution, and OT Architects to ensure security is integrated into all designs.
- Assisting in defining and maintaining security standards, guidelines, and reference architectures.
- Participating in technical design authorities and review boards, representing cyber security concerns.
- Keeping abreast of emerging cyber threats and technologies to provide forward-looking security architecture advice.
- Providing clear and actionable cyber security advice to a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Supporting risk assessments, threat modeling, and security control selection.
- Championing a 'Secure by Design' approach across ISO/ICT.
