Role Description: The Service Architect is responsible for designing and defining end-to-end IT service solutions that meet business requirements and align with organizational standards. This role ensures that services are scalable, secure, and deliverable within agreed SLAs, while integrating seamlessly with existing processes and technologies. Key Responsibilities
Service Design: Develop service architectures that cover infrastructure, applications, and operational processes.
Requirements Analysis: Work with stakeholders to capture functional and non-functional requirements for new or modified services.
Integration: Ensure new services integrate effectively with existing ITSM processes (e.g., Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management).
Documentation: Produce service design packages, including service models, operational procedures, and support documentation.
Governance: Define service standards and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Transition Support: Collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth transition from design to live operation.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance service performance and cost efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in service architecture or IT service design roles.
Strong understanding of ITIL framework and service management principles.
Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure and application landscapes.
Ability to create detailed service models and operational documentation.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Security Clearance
Must hold or be eligible to obtain SC clearance
Ability to work with sensitive and classified information in compliance with government and organizational security policies.
Preferred Qualifications
ITIL certification (Foundation or higher).
Experience in large-scale enterprise or government environments.
Familiarity with service modeling tools and frameworks.
