DevOps Engineer

Salary: £44,000 - 70,000 per year

• Willing to embed with customers in secure environments on a regular basis
• Experience of Web Services, Service Improvement, fault finding & problem solving
• Experience operating in a SRE / DevOps environment, utilising pipeline tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab for CI/CD
• Experience deploying rollouts with containerisation technologies such as Kubernetes, Helm or Docker
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code technologies (IaC) such as Ansible or Terraform
• A coding background which includes Javascript (React / Vue desirable) and Java.

• Provide technical leadership in a National Security environment
• Work closely with customers to maintain the operational integrity of mission-critical services
• Ensure successful delivery of software rollouts that enable national safety
• Prioritize customer availability and catch issues early
• Develop and deploy code while following best DevOps / SRE practices
