About the Role We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer for an inside IR35 contract role supporting a secure, high-profile programme. The role is fully remote, and the client operates their own payroll, covering employer National Insurance, so contractors can work on a straightforward PAYE basis without using an umbrella company.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using DevOps best practices.
Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
Ensure high availability, security, and performance across AWS environments.
Collaborate closely with engineering, security, and delivery teams.
Support automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement activities.
Skills & Experience Required
Strong experience as an AWS DevOps Engineer in complex environments.
Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native tooling.
Experience with CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code (eg Terraform, CloudFormation).
Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
