Salary: £35,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements: - • Excellent C/C++ programming skills, effective debugging, and solid version control experience.
- • Familiarity with Agile software development practices such as TDD, BDD, pair programming, sprints, and user stories.
- • A minimum of 5 years recent industry experience.
- • For senior roles: specific technical expertise (e.g., embedded microcontrollers, AI, low level code, performance optimisation, UI, graphics, communication protocols, or multithreaded code).
- • Ability to coach junior team members and take the lead on delivering projects (for senior positions).
- • A keen problem solver with strong communication skills and a commitment to high standards.
- • A degree in Computing or Maths is beneficial; experience with embedded systems (PIC, ARM, or AVR architectures) is a big plus for senior positions.
Responsibilities: - • Collaborate with a team of experienced developers to deliver innovative, high-quality embedded and IoT solutions.
- • Participate actively in an Agile environment, contributing to practices such as sprint planning, pair programming, and code reviews.
- • Work on technically challenging software projects while choosing appropriate tools and equipment.
- • For senior roles: lead project delivery and mentor junior team members.

This position is based at our Redruth, Cornwall office (on-site only) with a three-month probationary period. Applicants must be eligible to work permanently in the UK, and no remote or hybrid working opportunities are available. Travel expenses or relocation costs will not be provided.
