Zachary Daniels are delighted to be partnering with a growing organisation to recruit an Infrastructure Engineer. This is a hands-on role within a technology team that plays a critical role in maintaining secure, resilient, and scalable systems across on-premise and cloud environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Linux experience who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and working closely with engineering and security teams in a fast-paced environment.

Role Responsibilities:

Maintain and support Linux servers (Red Hat / CentOS) across physical and virtual environments. Support Windows-based environments where required. Monitor system performance, availability, and security. Troubleshoot infrastructure and networking issues across the TCP/IP stack. Apply patches, updates, and security fixes in line with best practice. Support AWS infrastructure including compute, storage, and networking. Maintain backups, disaster recovery processes, and system documentation. Work closely with engineering, security, and operations teams. Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You:

Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or Linux Systems Administrator. Strong Linux background (Red Hat / CentOS). Experience working with AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC). Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, routing). Exposure to Windows environments. Scripting or automation experience (Bash, Python, Ansible) is desirable. Comfortable in a hands-on, operational role.
