Senior .NET Developer

Our consultancy client is currently looking for an experienced senior .NET developer to work for one of their clients in the energy trading space. You must have extensive trading experience with a preference with ETRM's and their API's. As a senior developer your role will be broken down into software delivery and junior developer coaching. The software delivery will vary over time but will be focussed on the technical leadership, design and development of applications used in the trade life cycle.

You will work with the tech leads and architects to identify technical debt and ensure that it is addressed and communicated to key stakeholders as well as working with the architects to create and deliver technology roadmaps for the software solutions aligning them with the technology road map and architecture principles.

You will have worked on enterprise level complex projects involving C#, SQL Server and UI frameworks such as Angular and have worked within a trading or data intensive organisation such as commodities, financial or betting. CI/CD using Azure DevOps and knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, .NET, C#, WEBAPI and OAuth2 would be an advantage. Any knowledge of messaging tech such as Kafka or RabbitMQ would be an advantage. As would experience with Specflow, TDD and Terraform. You will need to be in the office 2 days a week and the role will be inside IR35
