Description:

We have a great opportunity for an experienced 3rd Line Engineer to join a growing IT business, working on a mix of escalations, project delivery and technical ownership across infrastructure, cloud and security.

What you'll be doing

  • Acting as the escalation point for complex service desk tickets
  • Delivering projects both remotely and onsite
  • Troubleshooting advanced issues across servers, networks, security and cloud platforms
  • Working across Microsoft 365, Entra, virtualisation, scripting and endpoint management
  • Managing and maintaining documentation, SOPs and technical guides
  • Providing mentorship to junior engineers and supporting wider service improvement
  • Ensuring best practice across security, compliance, communication and client experience

What we're looking for

  • Experience within a similar role
  • Strong experience with server administration, networking (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs), and cloud technologies
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and infrastructure
  • Understanding of security principles, compliance and vulnerability management
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong client-focused mindset
  • Full UK driving licence
