Google Cloud DevOps Architect - Contract | Hybrid (UK)

Experienced Google Cloud DevOps Architect required to support a global customer delivering cloud infrastructure and enterprise platform solutions.

This is a long-term freelance contract with hybrid working in the UK and flexible market rates available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver Google Cloud DevOps architecture and solutions
  • Assess existing systems and recommend improvements or upgrades
  • Define technical architecture and infrastructure designs
  • Lead system implementation and platform integration
  • Collaborate with developers and engineering teams
  • Troubleshoot platform and infrastructure issues
  • Monitor system performance and optimisation
  • Provide technical guidance and documentation
Key Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Technical Architect or Cloud Architect
  • Strong expertise with Google Cloud Platform and DevOps practices
  • Experience designing enterprise systems and cloud infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of networking, system integration and architecture design
  • Experience leading complex technical implementations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable
  • Experience with cloud automation and CI/CD pipelines
  • Exposure to enterprise infrastructure transformation programmes
  • Strong project or technical leadership experience
