The Role: - Act as deputy to the AI Solutions Director, aligning AI strategy with organisational and client goals while providing thought leadership.
- Lead the design and implementation of AI-driven IT operations solutions, including AIOps platforms, automation frameworks, and Conversational AI integrations.
- Oversee the integration of Agentic AI models to enable autonomous decision-making and orchestration across complex IT environments.
- Champion ITIL best practices within AI-enabled ITSM and ITOM processes to drive efficiency and service excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver end-to-end orchestration solutions.
- Provide technical leadership on infrastructure modernisation to support demanding AI workloads and automation pipelines.
- Monitor emerging AI technologies, assess their impact, and guide adoption for IT operations and enterprise automation.
- Work closely with vendors, Conversational AI partners, and the Digital Services Team - including managing platforms on behalf of clients - while nurturing strategic partnerships.
- Lead and mentor a team of 3-4 direct reports, fostering high performance and professional growth.
What We're Looking For - Extensive experience within financial services.
- Strong knowledge and experience in project management.
- Minimum 7+ years' experience in solution architecture, technical leadership, and delivering complex IT/AI projects.
- Proven expertise in AIOps, ITOM, ITSM, and ITIL frameworks.
- Strong technical knowledge of infrastructure, Agentic AI, automation, orchestration, and Conversational AI.
- Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration and event-driven automation tools such as Airflow, Argo, Prefect, Ansible, Salt, Puppet, ServiceNow Flow Designer, and message buses like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, cross-functional leadership, and project/solution delivery skills.
- Ability to provide technical advisory, shape technology strategy, and manage complex relationships with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
- Advanced capabilities in resilience, integrity, collaboration, influence, results delivery, problem-solving, accountability, people management, and driving business outcomes.
