CNC Miller - Programmer Setter Operator

Position: CNC Miller - Programmer setter Operator

Location: Coventry

Salary: £18 to £21 per hour (DOE)

CNC Miller required to join a growing engineering team that is based in Coventry. The

successful candidate will come from a CNC Milling background and be able to

Programme Set and Operate Fanuc or Hurco controls machines.

• Set up CNC milling machines, including selecting tools, setting work offsets, and loading programs.
• Operate 3-axis and/or multi-axis CNC mills to produce components to exact tolerances.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical documentation.
• Adjust machine settings to optimize performance, surface finish, and cycle times

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller or Machinist in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Programming Setting and Operating experience
• Fanuc or Hurco controls experience
• Hypermill, ONC CNC, Alphacam Or Edgecam experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing (GD&T).
• Competence using precision measuring equipment.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Permanent position
• Salary - £18 to £21 per hour
• Monday to Friday - 7am to 4pm (Friday finish at 12pm)
