Retirement Proposition Development Analyst

We are seeking a Retirement Income Proposition Development Analyst to join a leading firm, focused on enhancing customer journeys and developing innovative retirement income propositions. In this role, you will help establish, implement, and improve the delivery of retirement income solutions across new and existing markets, working closely with technology partners, internal teams, and third-party suppliers to ensure a seamless and compliant customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse end-to-end digital customer journeys, identifying friction points and recommending enhancements to improve the customer experience.
• Develop and execute test strategies, including user acceptance testing (UAT), for technology enhancements and new digital features.
• Coordinate cross-party testing and provide sign-off for digital portal developments.
• Act as subject matter expert for technology partners, responding to inquiries and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Participate in industry discussions and forums to help improve customer experience and retirement income propositions.
• Manage relationships with third-party suppliers, oversee contracts, and monitor service delivery.
• Handle defect management, resolve day-to-day queries, and liaise with back-office teams to ensure smooth operations.

Experience & Skills Required:

• Previous experience in creating scenarios and executing UAT.
• Experience in project management or supporting project delivery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex ideas clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of UK retirement products or financial intermediary distribution channels.
• Ability to identify, mitigate, and manage operational risk.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.

Desirable:

• Experience with XML, JSON messaging services, or platform integration.
