| Description: | Database Administrator (DBA) Location: Telford Clearance: Active SC Clearance is essential for this role Duration: 6 months Hybrid: 2 days per week in the office Hiring for an seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join a secure data environment within Platform Services. You will be responsible for the performance, integrity, availability, and security of enterprise database systems supporting critical services. This is a hands-on DBA role within a highly secure, delivery-focused environment. Responsibilities include: Install, configure and maintain DBMS platforms Monitor performance and optimise database operations Troubleshoot and resolve database incidents Manage backups and recovery processes Implement and maintain database security controls Manage user access, roles and privileges Design and optimise database structures and queries Perform performance tuning and capacity planning Define and enforce data standards and best practice Provide technical support and guidance Produce documentation and performance reports Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Database Administrator Strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or similar Experience in performance tuning, backup & recovery, and database security Please apply for immediate interview!
