The Business Development Manager position is ideal for a proactive sales expert with a robust background in motor trade fleet sales and business development. If you excel at nurturing client relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, and delivering tailored fleet solutions.

• Out on the road developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts
• Working hours Monday to Friday, 09 00, with flexibility for appointments

Duties as a Business Development Manager:

• Manage existing large fleet accounts with over 30 vehicles, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention
• Develop new business opportunities and establish strategic partnerships across Kent and the South of England
• Present and promote a diverse portfolio of Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) to prospective clients
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to meet ambitious sales targets
• Provide bespoke fleet solutions tailored to customer needs to grow market share
• Conduct market outreach, including door-knocking, to generate new leads and retain clients

Requirements:

• Proven experience in vehicle fleet sales and business development within the motor trade industry
• Excellent relationship-building and consultative sales skills
• Deep understanding of the LCV and fleet market
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently across a regional territory
• Full UK driving licence is essential
• Strong record of managing large fleet accounts and driving new business growth
