SAP Security Lead Consultant

Location: Hybrid (UK)

Working Pattern: Hybrid - mix of client site, office, and home (Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK)
Clearance: SC eligible (UK residency requirements apply)

Role Overview

We're supporting a major UK-based transformation programme seeking an experienced Senior SAP Security Consultant to lead security design and delivery across large-scale SAP initiatives. This role sits within a multi-disciplinary delivery team and focuses on SAP S/4HANA security architecture, GRC configuration, and advisory across complex enterprise landscapes.

You'll work across project life cycle phases including planning, upgrades, cloud migrations, and solution design, partnering with functional and technical stakeholders to deliver robust SAP security and controls.

Your role

• Lead SAP S/4HANA security and controls workstreams across transformation programmes
• Own technical delivery of SAP security solutions within project environments
• Configure and maintain GRC Access Control and associated tooling
• Design SAP security architecture across multi-system landscapes
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams across business areas
• Support role design, SoD analysis, and access governance activities
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide security advisory
• Contribute to SAP architecture discussions and design decisions

Experience required (not all essential)

• Proven delivery experience across large-scale SAP programmes
• Strong SAP Security design experience across S/4HANA environments
• Experience covering SAP HCM, Fiori, BI, BPC and cloud landscapes
• Hands-on GRC Access Control (10.1/12) implementation or upgrade experience
• Strong understanding of SAP role design and security controls
• Ability to lead workstreams and engage senior stakeholders
• Excellent communication and client-facing consulting skills

Nice to have experience

• GRC Process Control experience
• SAP IAG and BTP security exposure
• IAM and SSO integration knowledge
• Experience across complex enterprise SAP landscapes

Please note that this is working on a hybrid delivery model with a mix of client site, office, and remote working. Travel expectations will vary depending on project requirements.

Candidates must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC). This typically requires continuous UK residency for the past 5 years and meeting additional vetting criteria.
