Software Engineer (AWS/Claude Code)

Location: Manchester
Duration: 3-Month Contract
Placements: 2 Roles
Contract: 37.5 Hours per Week

This is a *Manchester* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working to *Build and maintain software applications and services*

Our client is looking for 2 Software Engineers to support a major AWS cloud migration project.

This role is ideal for developers with strong AWS experience and knowledge of Claude Code/AI coding tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain software applications and services
• Support cloud migration and platform modernisation on AWS
• Assist with data migration, validation, and rollout
• Create and maintain infrastructure-as-code and deployment pipelines
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and support production systems
• Investigate and resolve incidents
• Use Claude Code/AI tools to speed up development and delivery

Required Skills

• Strong software engineering background
• Hands-on AWS experience
• Experience with cloud migration and/or data migration
• Infrastructure-as-code/CI/CD experience
• Production support and incident management experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Container/cloud-native experience
• Legacy system modernisation experience
• On-call/operational support experience
