This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the commercial side of engineering and thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.The RoleYou'll be responsible for managing project opportunities from initial enquiry through to tender submission and delivery. Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and submitting high-quality technical proposals
Managing and tracking project opportunities through internal systems
Building long-term relationships with contractors and clients
Identifying new project opportunities and contributing to pipeline growth
Supporting projects throughout the full lifecycle, from tender to completion
Monitoring forecasts and prioritising high-value opportunities
What We're Looking For
Experience in an Applications Engineer or similar technical role
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and layouts
Commercial awareness with a proactive, results-driven mindset
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Comfortable working independently and within a team
