Desktop Support Specialist Onsite 5 Days per week London Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Specialist to provide technical support for both Windows and Mac environments across the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting end-user devices, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced IT environment. Our client is a specialist who provide specialist services across, Finance, IT, Legal as well as Entertainment. They operate in a customer focussed market and as as such the post holder will also need to be this way inclined Key Responsibilities - Provide support for Windows and macOS devices
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Support Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and common business applications
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and device access using Active Directory and cloud-based identity platforms
- Troubleshoot operating system, hardware, software, and connectivity issues for both Windows and Mac users
- Configure and support Apple devices including MacBooks, iMacs, iPhones, and iPads
- Perform device imaging, deployment, patching, and software installations
- Support remote and hybrid users using remote desktop and endpoint management tools
- Maintain endpoint security, antivirus protection, encryption, and compliance standards
- Manage IT support tickets and ensure timely resolution within agreed SLA targets
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including Workstation setup and user provisioning
- Document technical procedures, issue resolutions, and knowledge base articles
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT teams when required
- Support meeting room technology, conferencing systems, and collaboration tools.
