Who is the client? Our client is an established UK Managed Service Provider delivering high-quality IT support, consultancy, and strategic technology solutions to organisations across a range of sectors. They pride themselves on building long-term client relationships through proactive service delivery, technical expertise, and a collaborative approach. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their Service Desk with an experienced 3rd Line Service Desk Engineer. What will you be doing? As a 3rd Line Service Desk Engineer, you'll act as a senior technical escalation point, taking ownership of complex support issues while ensuring excellent service delivery across a varied client portfolio. You'll troubleshoot and maintain a wide range of technologies including Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, networking infrastructure, virtualisation platforms, security solutions, and backup environments. Alongside resolving high-level incidents, you'll perform root cause analysis, infrastructure maintenance, patching, and contribute towards continual service improvements. The role also offers the opportunity to support technical project work, including migrations, upgrades, and new technology implementations. You'll work closely with senior engineers and project teams while building trusted relationships with clients through regular onsite visits and outstanding technical support. What will you need?
