SharePoint Administrator

Hays are working with a public sector organisation in Gloucestershire to recruit a 12-month FTC SharePoint SME / Desktop Support Engineer. Salary c 30,000 - 35,000 and mostly site based in Gloucestershire.
Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain SharePoint Online sites, libraries, permissions, security, and governance.
• Support the Trust's SharePoint migration project and ongoing platform improvement.
• Provide support for SharePoint incidents, requests, troubleshooting, and user queries.
• Monitor performance, compliance, and storage, escalating issues where required.
• Create user documentation, training materials, and promote best practice.
• Assist with Service Desk operations, account administration, asset management, and supplier liaison.
• Deliver excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement across the organisation.

Key RequirementsEssential

• Relevant IT qualification or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 / SharePoint Online administration.
• Knowledge of ITIL and Service Desk support processes.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience using incident and service request management tools.

Desirable

• NHS experience.
• Microsoft certifications.
• Exposure to desktop, server, or network support environments.
