D Director, Investment Risk & Operations Technology Location: London (Hybrid Working) The Opportunity A leading UK investment management organisation is seeking a senior technology leader to take ownership of its Investment, Risk and Operations technology estate. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, this role will lead multiple technology and product teams responsible for delivering the platforms and capabilities that support investment decision-making, risk management, portfolio construction, trading, investment operations and back-office processes. This is a highly visible leadership position at the intersection of business strategy and technology, with responsibility for shaping the future platform landscape and delivering critical transformation programmes. Key Strategic Responsibilities Risk Management Platform (Priority) Lead the design, selection and delivery of a new enterprise-wide risk management capability from the ground up. You will define the target operating model, technology roadmap and implementation strategy, ensuring the platform supports portfolio risk monitoring, investment governance, regulatory requirements and business growth. Portfolio Management Platform Own and evolve the firm's portfolio management capability and associated investment systems. This includes defining the long-term roadmap and leading a likely future platform transformation or migration programme involving solutions such as:
Back Office Platform Provide strategic ownership of the back-office technology estate, centred on the Objectway Eximius platform. You will ensure operational resilience, scalability, service excellence and alignment with future business requirements. Key Responsibilities
