Data Insight Enablement Lead

Triumph Consultants are looking for a Data Insight Enablement Lead. The main tasks include translating technical requirements into specifications, representing performance at SLT meetings, liaising with heads of service, and working with portfolio holders. The role involves oversight of statutory terms for adult social care and strategic intelligence assessments for community safety partnerships Contract is for 8 months in Huddersfield.

The role is predominantly remote, with infrequent requirements for in-person attendance.

Key requirements:

• A degree or postgraduate level qualification in a relevant field such as computer science, mathematics, data science, social science or statistics or equivalent experience of working at or applying knowledge and skills at this level.
• Strong knowledge and awareness of a range of data and insight disciplines (eg business intelligence; data analytics; data visualisation; qualitative research; evaluation) and experience of implementing effective approaches to data and insights across a range of service/business areas.
• Experience of leading and managing the delivery of a range of data and insight projects from initiation to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Create a data and insight transformation roadmap for Adult and Communities services, getting buy in and support from within and outside the Council to increase our overall data and insight maturity.
• Develop data and insight project specifications based on Adult and Communities goals, needs and outcomes, working in collaboration with colleagues across a range of services.
• Effectively manage and prioritise data and insight demand from across Adult and Communities services and act as the primary point of contact between Adult and Communities services and the Data and Insight Service.
• Proactively identify opportunities where the use of data, analytics, intelligence and insights can add real and tangible value to Adult and Communities services, working with colleagues to build a thorough understanding of the issues and challenges facing services.
