Infrastructure Engineer (SAN / Active Directory)Manchester£45,000 - £55,000 + BenefitsExcellent opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer with hands-on SAN and Active Directory experience to join a growing infrastructure team within a large, multi-site organisation.This role offers a varied mix of infrastructure project work and technical support across a predominantly on-prem environment. You will work within an established team responsible for supporting a significant national estate covering more than 90 sites and over 1,000 servers.In this role, you will help support and maintain the organisation's core infrastructure, with a particular focus on SAN storage and Active Directory. You will also contribute to upgrades, migrations, installations and wider infrastructure improvement projects.The ideal candidate will have practical SAN or enterprise storage experience, a good working knowledge of Active Directory, and be based within a reasonable commuting distance of Manchester.Experience with VMware, Windows Server, physical infrastructure, networking or cloud platforms would be beneficial, but you are not expected to have experience across every area.This is a great opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer who wants to broaden their technical exposure, contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects and develop within a large, complex environment.The Role:

• Support and administer SAN and enterprise storage environments
• Maintain and troubleshoot Active Directory
• Contribute to infrastructure upgrades, migrations and improvement projects
• Support physical and virtual server environments
• Assist with server builds, installations, patching and lifecycle management
• Work alongside experienced infrastructure engineers across a large national estate
• Help ensure infrastructure remains secure, stable and reliable
• Primarily based from the company's Manchester site

The Person:

• Hands-on experience supporting SAN or enterprise storage technologies
• Good working knowledge of Active Directory
• Previous experience in an Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Engineer or similar role
• Based within a commutable distance of Manchester
• Eligible and willing to obtain SC clearance
• Full UK driving licence
