£28,000 - £33,000 DOE Permanent Full Time

TwoSix Recruitment are looking for an Operations Co-ordinator to join a busy and growing business within the IT sector.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys organising people, managing changing priorities and keeping a busy operation moving.

You could already be working in operations or service coordination. Alternatively, you may come from an IT helpdesk or service desk background and be looking to move into a broader operations-focused role.

• £28,000 - £33,000 depending on experience
• 23 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing with service

What you'll be doing

You'll be helping to coordinate a busy team of IT engineers and support staff, making sure work is allocated, prioritised and kept moving.

Your day will include:

• Allocating and scheduling work to engineers
• Prioritising support tickets, jobs and projects
• Monitoring workloads and chasing progress
• Reorganising schedules when priorities change
• Keeping customers updated
• Liaising with engineers, customers and suppliers
• Making sure urgent issues are picked up quickly
• Keeping the CRM and ticketing system up to date

This isn't a role where you'll just be doing general administration.

You'll need to be comfortable making decisions, speaking to engineers and customers and changing priorities throughout the day when something more urgent comes in.

What we're looking for

You don't need formal qualifications and you don't need to be an IT expert.

We're more interested in whether you can organise, prioritise, communicate and keep your head when things get busy.

You may currently be working as an:

• Operations Co-ordinator
• Service Co-ordinator
• IT Co-ordinator
• Helpdesk Co-ordinator
• Service Desk Co-ordinator
• Engineering Co-ordinator
• 1st or 2nd Line IT Support Engineer looking for progression

You'll need to be:

• Highly organised
• Confident and professional
• Comfortable juggling several priorities at once
• A strong communicator
• Calm when plans suddenly change
• Confident using CRM, ticketing or job management systems
• Proactive and able to think for yourself

Previous experience within IT would be an advantage, but strong coordination experience is just as important.
