Description: About the Role

AHL Security are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing security services team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and generating new contracts across the security sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional who understands the security industry and enjoys developing long-term commercial partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the security sector.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, tenders and industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Develop and present professional proposals and quotations.
  • Attend client meetings and site visits to understand customer requirements.
  • Work closely with operations teams to ensure proposed services meet client needs.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Negotiate contracts and support the sales process from initial enquiry through to completion.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and opportunities through the company CRM.
  • Represent the company professionally at meetings, events and networking opportunities.
About You We are looking for someone who is:
  • Experienced in business development, sales or account management, ideally within the security industry.
  • Confident communicating with clients at all levels.
  • Highly motivated, target-driven and commercially minded.
  • A strong negotiator with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable generating their own leads and winning new business.
  • Professional, organised and able to manage multiple opportunities.
  • Confident using CRM systems, Microsoft Office and other business-development tools.
  • Able to work independently while also collaborating with the wider team.
  • A full UK driving licence is desirable.
