| Description: | Our client is a large local government organisation and looking for an experienced IT Business Relationship Manager to join their team. This is initially a 3 month contract which may be extended for the right applicant You will • Develop and maintain strong relationships with directorates, services and senior stakeholders across the Council. • Act as the primary point of contact between assigned business areas and DDaT. • Understand business priorities, challenges and opportunities and translate these into digital, data and technology requirements. • Support the development and delivery of directorate digital roadmaps aligned to corporate objectives. • Ensure DDaT services contribute to service transformation, efficiency, customer experience and organisational outcomes. Demand Management and Prioritisation • Capture, assess and manage business demand for digital, data and technology services. • Support the development of business cases for technology-enabled change initiatives • Work with stakeholders to prioritise requirements against strategic objectives, resources and budget constraints. • Ensure requests for new systems, enhancements and digital services follow agreed governance processes. Transformation and Continuous Improvement • Identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology, automation, data analytics and digital service design. • Support services in adopting modern digital ways of working. • Champion innovation and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, where appropriate. • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement activities to identify improvement opportunities. Project and Change Support • Collaborate with Project Managers, Solution Architects, Technical Leads and suppliers to ensure solutions meet business needs. • Support the successful delivery of DDaT projects and programmes. • Assist with change management activities, stakeholder engagement and user adoption. • Ensure benefits are defined, tracked and realised following implementation. Service Management • Monitor service performance and customer satisfaction within assigned business areas. • Escalate service issues and risks where necessary. • Work with operational teams to improve service quality and user experience. • Contribute to service reviews and continual service improvement initiatives PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS INSIDE SCOPE OF IR35 HYBRID WORKING | |
