| Description: | Control & Systems Engineer Burton-on-Trent £48,000 £58,000 DOE Monday Friday 8:00am 4:00pm 40 hours We re recruiting for an experienced Control & Systems Engineer to join the engineering team of a well-established, global manufacturing business based in Burton-on-Trent. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in industrial automation, PLCs and control systems who enjoys a mix of hands-on engineering, software development, fault finding and project work. You ll become a key technical specialist within the site, working on a range of automation, controls and engineering improvement projects taking projects from initial concept and specification through to design, programming, implementation and commissioning. You ll ideally have a HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent qualification in Controls, Automation, Industrial Software or a related engineering discipline, alongside strong practical experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment. You ll need strong knowledge of:
The role will suit someone who is equally comfortable on the factory floor working directly with machinery as they are developing software or designing systems at a desk. Some travel to other UK sites will be required, with occasional international travel possible. What s on offer
