Due to our continued success, we are looking to expand our highly skilled engineering team. We are seeking a Linux Configuration, Integration & Test (CIT) Engineer to support the development and delivery of Linux-based embedded systems. Acting as a technical specialist who bridges the gap between software development, hardware/embedded platforms, and system deployment. You will configure, merge, and validate Linux-based operating systems, kernels, drivers, and application stacks to ensure everything works reliably on target hardware and pay meticulous attention to testing and validation. Working as part of the engineering team, you will help deliver recording systems and advanced sonar solutions for deployment on Royal Navy ships and submarines. At Kaon, you'll have the opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle, from proposals and customer engagement through to system design, implementation, testing, delivery and in-service support within the UK and overseas. This role is ideal for someone with strong Linux expertise and an interest in hardware, looking to apply their skills across the development, production and testing of specialist embedded systems.
