Do you have a background or education in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar? Are you looking for an entry-level product testing role with an industry leading healthcare group that make a real difference to peoples lives, who offer a structured training program, routes to progress and the ability to work on a variety of fast-moving projects?
On offer is the opportunity to join a leading medical equipment manufacturer and supplier, who are undertaking a massive period of growth having recently acquired another business. The company provide medical mobility equipment for both domestic and commercial clients, these include stairlifts, hoists, slings, furniture and other crucial devices. Due to the nature of the business, taking care of their employees and nurturing their development is the key to their growth and long term business strategy.
This varied role, will see you responsible for conducting product testing on a variety of devices across the group, you will work in a tight-knit team to plan test programmes, assist on building test rigs, work towards ISO standards and support the design, research and development teams, you will also draft documentation and publish results. This is a Monday to Friday, office based position. This role would suit a candidate with a background in Engineering that is looking to specialise in Product Testing and develop into a Test Engineer over the long term, with a healthcare group, who make a real difference to the community and give you opportunities to progress into senior positions.
The Role: - Plan and conduct product testing on a range of devices
- Prepare and assist the building of test rigs
- Write documentation and present results to ISO standards
- Work alongside design and R&D teams to improve products
- Monday to Friday, office based role
