Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solution Architect

Contract Type: Outside IR35

Duration: 12 months (with potential for extension)

Location: UK based, hybrid working with occasional travel to A&A Digital Tech Ltd(AADT) and client locations

Security Clearance: Applicants must either hold current Security Check (SC) clearance or be eligible to obtain SC clearance. Candidates without existing clearance must be willing to complete the required security vetting process as a condition of appointment.

About the role

A&A Digital Tech Ltd is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solution Architect to lead the architecture and design of secure, scalable, enterprise-grade Dynamics 365 solutions.

The successful candidate will provide end-to-end solution architecture across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, Azure and enterprise integrations, working closely with business, architecture, engineering, data and security teams.

You will work closely with enterprise architects, product teams, service owners, engineers, cyber security specialists, identity teams, data and analytics teams, operational stakeholders and technology suppliers.

This role will support major UK public sector and enterprise transformation programmes within AADT's client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Dynamics 365 solution architecture and technical design
• Translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable solution designs
• Architect solutions across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, Power Apps and Power Automate
• Design API, Azure and enterprise integration patterns
• Define appropriate data, security, identity and RBAC architecture
• Lead fit-gap analysis and minimise unnecessary customisation
• Provide architecture governance, design assurance and technical leadership
• Work effectively with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary delivery teams
• Support solutions from discovery and architecture through implementation and assurance

Essential Experience

• Strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solution Architecture experience
• Demonstrable experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O)
• Demonstrable experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE)/CRM
• Excellent knowledge of Power Platform and Dataverse
• Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate
• Strong API and enterprise integration architecture experience
• Good understanding of Azure integration services
• Strong knowledge of data, security, identity and role-based access control (RBAC)
• Experience leading fit-gap analysis, solution design and architecture governance
• Strong technical leadership and stakeholder management skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience delivering complex enterprise transformation programmes
• Public-sector or highly regulated environment experience
• PL-600 and/or MB-700 certification
• Agile Methodology Experience: Demonstrated experience leading and delivering projectsin Agile environments, with the ability to manage large-scale, complex projects.
• Current SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance
