Principal Microsoft Fabric Consultant - Remote (UK) - Up to £110,000 + Benefits

We're working with a leading Microsoft-focused consultancy that is continuing to invest heavily in its Data & AI practice. With a strong pipeline of Microsoft Fabric projects, they're looking for an experienced Principal Data Consultant to take ownership of customer engagements, shape technical solutions, mentor consultants, drive successful project delivery.

This is an opportunity to join a business where you'll have genuine influence. You'll work directly with customers, help define their data strategy, lead discovery workshops, guide technical delivery, play a key role in the continued growth of the Data practice.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining consultancy, leadership, architecture, hands-on technical expertise whilst remaining close to customers throughout the project lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading customer workshops, discovery sessions, requirements gathering activities
• Turning business challenges into practical data solutions
• Designing modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services
• Providing technical leadership across complex Data & Analytics projects
• Building trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders
• Supporting customers from initial scoping through to successful delivery
• Contributing to solution design, proposals, statements of work, pre-sales activities
• Mentoring consultants across the wider Data team
• Promoting best practice across data engineering, analytics, reporting
• Identifying opportunities where customers can generate additional value from their data investments

Key Experience

We're looking to speak with candidates who have experience in:

• Delivering customer-facing Data & Analytics projects within a consultancy environment
• Microsoft Fabric architecture, implementation, delivery
• Azure Data Platform technologies
• Azure Data Factory
• Synapse Analytics
• Data architecture, modern data platform design
• SQL
• Python
• Lakehouse architecture
• Stakeholder management at both business, technical levels
• Running workshops, gathering requirements, shaping solutions
• Leading complex data transformation projects

Experience with Databricks would be beneficial but is not essential.
