Your future duties and responsibilities As an AWS DevOps Engineer at CGI, you'll take ownership of developing, maintaining and optimising secure cloud infrastructure and automated deployment processes that support business-critical applications. Working with AWS, Terraform and GitHub Actions, you'll help deliver scalable, resilient solutions while improving deployment efficiency, operational reliability and cloud security. You'll collaborate with development, engineering and delivery teams to implement automation, streamline workflows and resolve technical challenges. You'll also have opportunities to explore innovative approaches to cloud engineering, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and strengthen your technical expertise. Supported by experienced colleagues and CGI's collaborative culture, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality cloud services that create measurable value for our clients. Key responsibilities:
Required qualifications to be successful in this role To succeed in this role, you'll bring hands-on experience in AWS cloud engineering, infrastructure automation and CI/CD delivery, alongside a strong understanding of DevOps principles and cloud security. You'll be confident working with Terraform, GitHub Actions and AWS serverless technologies, with the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges and deliver reliable solutions. You'll also demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, a willingness to explore new technologies and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
