- Using your hands on manufacturing engineering experience, make recommendations on product application suitability offering support on product selection.
- Where applicable, provide customers with machining advice for optimum performance including feeds and speeds and other technical information.
- Actively participate in understanding enquiries by phone/conference calls/email, ensuring high levels of communication throughout and identify solutions.
- Complete email enquiries in a timely manner offering pro-active solutions.
- Provide Pricing Guidance for sales opportunities exceeding £1000.00; educating on how decisions have been made, promoting associate decision-making development.
- Using your experience and knowledge, pro-actively identify the training needs of the internal associates and where applicable, design and deliver training sessions to enhance the customer's experience.
- Working as a team, achieve all core service metrics, upholding the Customer Service Promise.
- Promote an "Easy to Do Business With" ethos by maintaining a positive can-do attitude on all internal and external transactions.
- Have a commercial awareness, of the industry, margin and product, share cross functionally to help improve/maintain customer experience across departments.
- Any other duties in line with business and departmental needs.
