Description: Wolviston Management Services is recruiting an Electronics Test Engineer on behalf of a leading technology company based in Durham. This is an opportunity to join an innovative engineering team developing next-generation electronic and battery technologies.

The Role
You ll support the development and improvement of test processes, automated test equipment, and new product introduction activities. The position is hands-on, varied, and ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and working across engineering and production teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and run test plans for new products.
  • Design, build, and maintain electronic test equipment and fixtures.
  • Troubleshoot issues on products and test systems.
  • Support production teams with technical guidance.
  • Contribute to NPI and FMEA activities.
  • Produce accurate documentation and clear test reports.

What We re Looking For
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Experience in electronics testing or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong LabVIEW skills
  • Confident troubleshooting and fault-finding ability.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work well with cross-functional teams.
Interview Process
Two stages:
  1. Online interview.
  2. On-site interview with the wider engineering team.
