AI / ML Engineer

Fully Remote Up to 100,000 (DOE)

We're working with a well-funded, early-stage tech company operating at the intersection of behavioural science and applied AI. They're building intelligent, real-world AI products and are now looking for a Machine Learning Engineer with strong LLM experience to join their growing team.

This is a hands-on role where you'll have real ownership, influence technical direction, and work closely with product and engineering teams.

• Designing, building and deploying LLM-powered systems end to end

• Developing and optimising RAG pipelines, prompt strategies and workflows

• Working with GCP services, particularly Vertex AI

• Writing clean, scalable production code in Python

• Collaborating cross-functionally and clearly communicating technical ideas

• Strong experience with LLMs (this is a must)

• Solid Python engineering background

• Hands-on experience with GCP (Vertex AI)

• Experience building real-world ML / GenAI systems (not just experimentation)

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously in a remote setup

• Experience with RAG frameworks, vector databases, or orchestration tools

• Startup or early-stage environment experience

• Fully remote

• Salary up to 100,000, depending on experience
