This Software Engineer / Software Development Engineer job will suit:

• A Software Engineer / Software Development Engineer with an embedded systems / embedded software background.
• You will become an integral member of a software engineering team that support the development of integrated safety control and automation systems for several engineering sectors.
• Previous experience of C++ software programming language.
• Any exposure to Control Systems, Automation Systems, Communication Systems, Remote Control/Monitoring or similar technology would be advantageous.
• You will hold a relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in an electrical engineering, systems engineering or similar engineering discipline.

The Software Engineer / Software Development Engineer job will involve:

• The Software Engineer role is focused on building high-quality, innovative and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design.
• Execute the full software development cycle - design, develop, test and provide customer technical support.
• Requirements capture, defining system functionality and writing code.
• Integrate software components into a full functional system (hardware & software system).
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.
