Dynamics NAV / D365 Business Central Developer - Fully Remote - Outside IR35 - ASAP Strart

We are supporting a client delivering a Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Dynamics 365 Business Central upgrade and are looking for an experienced NAV/D365 Business Central Developer to join the programme.

This is a hands-on technical role focused on custom development, extension build, Legacy remediation, and upgrade support, with a strong emphasis on Supply Chain functionality.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions within Dynamics NAV and D365 Business Central as part of a NAV to BC upgrade.
• Analyse Legacy C/AL customisations and refactor into AL extensions aligned with BC best practices.
• Develop and maintain AL extensions using Visual Studio Code.
• Support technical upgrade activities including remediation and performance optimisation.

Experience:

• Strong hands-on development experience with:

  • Dynamics NAV ()

  • Dynamics 365 Business Central

• Proven experience delivering NAV - BC upgrades or BC implementations

• Strong AL and C/AL development experience

• Mandatory: Strong experience within Business Central Supply Chain modules, including:

  • Inventory Management

  • Warehousing

  • Purchasing

  • Sales Order Processing

  • Item tracking/dimensions

  • Supply planning (desirable)

• Experience working with supply chain integrations (WMS, 3PL, EDI - advantageous)

• Comfortable operating autonomously in a fully remote contract role
