The successful candidate will support a range of payments operations, regulatory, and transformation initiatives across high-value client segments, helping to drive operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and scalable payments solutions. The role: Conduct current-state analysis of end-to-end payments processes across Payments Operations, including high-value, cross-border, and wealth client payments. Identify process inefficiencies, control gaps, and regulatory impacts, with a focus on high-net-worth and private banking client needs. Produce clear process maps, workflows, and supporting documentation tailored to both operational teams and client-facing wealth management functions. Support the design of target-state payments processes and operating models, incorporating private banking and wealth management requirements. Assist delivery of payments regulatory initiatives, including SEPA, PSD2, ISO 20022 and other relevant frameworks, ensuring alignment with wealth and high-value client processes. Translate regulatory and business requirements into clear functional and non-functional requirements. Collaborate with solution and technical architects to contribute to solution and architecture design, including systems supporting wealth client transactions. Support end-to-end delivery of change initiatives across multiple workstreams. Engage with business, operations, technology, compliance, private banking, and third-party stakeholders. Assist with planning, governance, dependency management, and delivery reporting. Support testing activities, implementation readiness, and post-implementation review, with a focus on wealth management and high-value client flows.
Key Skills and Experience: Circa 10+ years' experience in Payments Operations and/or Payments change within financial services. Exposure to Private Banking or Wealth Management operations, including high-value and cross-border payments. Understanding of payments processing, clearing, settlement, and operational controls. Experience with payments platforms, core banking systems, or integration layers supporting wealth management clients. Exposure to SEPA schemes, PSD2 or ISO20022 and payments regulatory environments. Experience working in regulated banking or financial services organisations, preferably including wealth management. Approximately 10+ years' experience in change, transformation, or project delivery roles. Experience working across business analysis, solution design, and delivery support activities. Ability to adapt quickly across different clients, delivery models, and environments.
Core Skills & Capabilities: Strong business analysis and requirements management skills. Process mapping and documentation expertise (eg, BPMN or equivalent). Ability to bridge business and technology stakeholders effectively. Clear, confident communication and documentation skills. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable working on-site and collaborating within client and emagine delivery teams. Experience understanding client-facing operational requirements, especially in Private Banking/Wealth Management contexts.
